Our story

Founded in 1973 by the current Chairman and Cavaliere del Lavoro Giovanni Basagni, Miniconf is an Italian multi-brand & multi-channel company specialising in the production and distribution of clothing for 0 to 16-year-olds.

Miniconf’s dynamic and transversal collections are orrefed offering is represented by the Sarabanda, Minibanda and iDO brands.

Starting off from Tuscany where it was born, Miniconf has managed to achieve international visibility today while remaining firmly rooted in its local context.

Our story

1973

Miniconf S.p.A. is set up. The brand logo is created by Loretta Mazzetti

1980

The Giannini sextuplets are born, the only such event in Italy. For years they will be Miniconf testimonials

1990

The Sarabanda brand is born

1991

The Dodipetto brand is born. Miniconf’s corporate identity is completely overhauled: a new logo is created that enhances the brand’s authority in the sector

2009

Miniconf expands abroad: Miniconf’s Iberian branch is created to oversee the Spanish market

2011

iDO is launched on to the market

2013

Miniconf celebrates its 40th anniversary. The Russian branch MinRus is created

2019

Miniconf presents its Environmental Commitment Manifesto and sets itself new objectives for the medium and long term

2020

Minibanda becomes an independent brand
